Ear or Auricular Acupuncture involves inserting small acupuncture needles into the outer ears to help complement a body acupuncture treatment or as a treatment in its own right.
According to traditional Oriental belief there are over 200 acupuncture points in the ear which are thought to represent areas of the human body.
Ear ‘press seeds’ are also used after treatment for patients to continue to stimulate parts of the ear between treatments. These are non-penetrating so are safe to use in between acupuncture treatments.
